Auditions for the 2020-2021 Season

Are you a vocalist who would like to be a part of a professional vocal ensemble that performs locally and internationally? The Zielinski Singers is hosting on-line auditions for the 2020-2021 season, including local performances, and international travel to Legnica Cantat 51 in Legnica, Poland and the Classical Music Festival in Eisenstadt, Austria.

Details

Vocalists will be paid per service (practice and performance but not by the hour) at the rate of $75/each. Vocalists will be expected to rehearse on their own and come completely prepared for rehearsals and performances.

The Zielinski Singers are comprised of 16 vocal professionals (four sopranos, four altos, four tenors, four basses) with an established reputation for performances that are of the highest artistic quality featuring contemporary choral works and great choral classics. This professional chorus has also released a CD series featuring works by American choral composers. The Zielinski Singers was founded in 2005 by Dr. Richard Zielinski, CEO of A to Z Productions and the Artistic Director of the Norman Philharmonic.

Please prepare a short bio that includes your experience as a vocalist, performer, and ensemble participant and a head-shot taken within the last two years. Provide a YouTube or Vimeo link to you performing, as a soloist, an American song, German Lieder, Italian Art Song, French Chanson, pop, or musical theatre ballad. Your selection should show-off the tone and range of your voice, and the ability to perform with precision and beauty.

All of your audition materials are due no later than midnight on August 3rd, 2020, to krystyn@bold-multimedia.com. You will be notified within the next week if you were selected for an in-person callback.
